Oct. 13, 2021 (North Augusta, SC)- Thomas Finn was medalist for the boys while Ella Stoll claimed the honors for the girls as the field is now set for the Vaughn Taylor Championship at Mount Vintage Golf Course.

Finn, from New York, shot a -2 (70) to claim the one shot victory. Logan Lutz, Blake Henriguez, Jace Butcher, Landon Durham, Patman Malcolm and Lucas Acevedo also grabbed qualifying spots for the championship.

On the girls side, Stoll, from Georgia, fired a +1 (73) for top honors. Angela Nip, Mia Sessa, Christine Chang and Sofia Cherif Essakali also claimed spots in the tournament. Sessa, from Augusta, makes it through the quqlifying event for the second straight year.

Wednesday is the Jim Burton Memorial Jr-Am with the opening round set for Friday.

The field will be using set tee times for the first two rounds and then will be repaired by score, for the final round on Sunday.
