North Augusta, S.C.–On a blazing hot day at Mount Vintage Golf Club, Ashton Eubanks (Lexington, S.C.) and Clairey Lin (Palos Verdes Estates, Ca.) continue to lead the way after two rounds of this year’s championship.

Eubanks fired 75 and is now -2, holding a two shot lead on the field. Griffin Garvin (Statesboro, Ga.) has moved into a tie for second after his back-to-back rounds of 72. Garvin is tied with Joseph Canitano (Alpharetta, Ga.) and Pierce Adamson (Atlanta, Ga.) who shot a 73 and 69 respectively. Augusta’s Hamilton Coleman is tied for fifth, just three shots off the pace.

Lin faltered today with two bogeys and a double bogey but still increased her led to four shots as she sits at +1 for the championship. Samantha Dizon (Philippines) and Sahana Mantha (Charlotte, N.C.) are both four shots off the pace. Sofia Cherif Essakali (Orlando, Fl.) is five back at +6.

Pars were tough to come by Wednesday with just five boys and one girl shooting 72 or better as the course is playing difficult.
