Jim Burton

Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Davis Love III, Jim Furyk, Vaughn Taylor, Paula Creamer, and Morgan Pressel are a few of the hundreds of pros who played in AJGA Junior-AMs when they were teenagers. The PGA and LPGA Tours are filled with players that learned their skills on the AJGA. Maybe more importantly though is the percentage of college players that started here.

Named in honor of one of our tournament founders, Jim Burton, the Jim Burton Memorial Junior-AM is one of the tournament highlights. In addition to learning the skills of golf and competition, these Juniors learn the values and discipline to become future leaders. The investment you make to support and play in this fun event will help to continue this tradition.
